If you're a "suspicious" person, does that mean you suspect others, or others suspect you? Just wondered.
So, this blog is mainly about language. But some commentary on current events will also make its way in. Like lots of bloggers, I'm mainly responding to what I read/see/hear in the media (which is plural, by the way.) Well, the media I read/watch/listen to. That mainly means the New York Times and National Public Radio, but it also includes free local papers like the San Francisco Examiner, and whatever CNN or local news happens to be playing on the TVs at the gym when I'm sweating away, and magazines like Time and Newsweek and the New Yorker, which I browse at doctor's offices. So, that's my context.
